Adding content to displays
Displays in TRMS are separate monitors or TVs that you can configure to show content such as leaderboards, events, or images. They are not the bay screens used by players.
Once you’ve set up your displays in TRMS (see the [Adding displays article]), you can decide what to show on them. Content can include events, leaderboards, and images. Adding content is a great way to increase player engagement and highlight activities at your range.
How to create content

Step 1: Go to Displays. |

Step 2: Click on the Content tab. |
|
|
Step 3: Click Add content in the top right corner. |
|

Step 4: Choose the type of content you want to add:

Step 5: Configure the content details depending on what you've selected. Check out this detailed guide for how to configure leaderboards. |

Step 6: At the bottom of the Review step, name your content. |
|
|
Step 7: Click Save. |
|
|
Done! Now you can assign the content to any of your displays you've set up. For more details of how to edit and manage the content, check out the [Editing and reordering content article]. |
Adding content to displays

Step 1: Go to the Content tab. |

Step 2: Locate the content you want to add to a display. Then open the Displaying on dropdown. |

Step 3: Select the display(s) you want your content to show. |

Content types
Events
Events help attract new players and keep regulars engaged. They allow you to set up timed competitions with live leaderboards and results.
When adding an event, you can:
- Select from your published events.
- Choose a category to display.
- Name the leaderboard or results (depending on the event stage).
Event behavior:
- Before event: An empty leaderboard appears with a message that the event is upcoming.
- During event: The leaderboard updates with player scores in real time.
- After event: The leaderboard automatically switches into results mode and will keep showing results until you remove it from TRMS.
Leaderboards
Leaderboards showcase competition at your range and can be set for different timeframes — daily, weekly, monthly, yearly, or all-time. They appear on displays in TRMS and in the Toptracer Range app, giving players the joy of seeing their name on the board and the bragging rights of climbing to the top.
When creating a leaderboard:
- Choose a game mode.
- Configure its settings (e.g., course, tee).
- Give the leaderboard a name, which is shown both in TRMS and on the configured leaderboard.
Once saved, the leaderboard appears as a card in TRMS where you can view, edit, or delete it.
Note: Leaderboards reset automatically according to the timeframe you select.
Images
Images are a flexible way to showcase promotions, amenities, or announcements.
- Images fill the display according to its proportions.
- If the proportions don’t match, the background fills with black or white (depending on your display theme).
