Jan 2026 - Dashboard updates and removed legacy leaderboard support
📊 Dashboard updates

Updated date range selection
The dashboard date controls have been improved:
- The first dropdown still allows quick date selections
- Users can now also click the start date and end date to set a custom date range
Quick selection supports today
Quick selections now support today’s date, making it easier to view up-to-date activity.

Setup filter is now range-specific
The setup filter dropdown now adapts based on the range configuration:
- Ranges with both Monitor and Mobile setups will be able to choose whether to view:
- combined data (both setups), or
- data from each setup individually
- Ranges with only one setup will not see this filter option.
🏆 Legacy leaderboard support removed
The current URL to set up a display (trms.toptracer.com/leaderboard) has been available since 2022, and most ranges have already adopted it. The legacy display URL was always intended as a temporary fallback, giving ranges time to upgrade to compatible hardware and transition at their own pace. With legacy usage now minimal, we’re retiring that temporary solution and removing support for legacy leaderboards. Since today’s browsers (Chrome 143, Firefox 146) are also well above the minimum supported versions, the overall impact of this change is expected to be small.
This URL is no longer supported:
trms.toptracer.com/legacy-leaderboard
Displays that currently have the legacy URL open will be redirected to the supported URL.
Check older display devices
If your display runs on an older device or browser, you may need to confirm that it supports the following browser versions:
- Chrome 49 or later
- Firefox 55 or later

🆕 Version updates
TRMS now prompts users when a new version is available. This helps ensure that you are always running the latest and greatest improvements and fixes.
This update is part of our continued work to reduce caching-related issues that have affected TRMS in the past. If TRMS is behaving unexpectedly, we still recommend clearing your browser cache and reloading the page. For instructions, see:
Clear cache and troubleshoot unexpected TRMS behavior
When filing a support request, it can also be helpful to include the TRMS version number. You can find it at the bottom of the Support page.
