Offline Mode from Bay Screen
If you see the message “The Range is currently set in Offline Mode from bay screen [TURN OFF]” displayed as a banner at the top of TRMS, it means your range has been switched into a temporary unlocked mode, called offline mode.
Why to turn on offline mode
Toptracer includes a built-in failsafe to ensure players can continue using the screens uninterrupted when:
- Your range has lost its internet connection.
- TRMS is configured incorrectly, preventing communication with the screens (when this happens, TRMS cannot control bay assignments or session behavior)
Turn on unlocked mode from the bay screen to enable guests to continue playing without interruption.
How to turn on offline mode
You can enable Unlocked mode directly on the bay screens using your Admin PIN (can be found in TRMS → Settings). This
- Sessions will automatically time out after 60 minutes
- Assignments are not used in this fallback mode
Restoring normal operation
When the internet connection is restored or the TRMS configuration issue is resolved, you can disable the temporary Unlocked mode from TRMS.
- Look for the offline mode banner at the top of TRMS.
- Click TURN OFF in the banner.
TRMS will then revert to your normal business model and the behavior defined in Range Settings.
If you did not turn on offline mode yourself, it may mean that your TRMS is misconfigured. If turning off the mode is not sufficient, you are welcome to reach out to support.
