Wireless Access Point (Wi-Fi) Status Guide

Some Toptracer installations include a Wireless Access Point (AP) to support the Toptracer Mobile experience.

The Access Point receives both power and data through a single network cable connected to the switch.


Step 1 – Check the LED Light

🔵 Solid Blue

The Access Point is operating normally.

If Wi-Fi issues continue, contact Support.

⚪️ Solid White

The Access Point is starting up.

Wait 2–3 minutes to see if the light changes to blue.

🔵 Flashing Blue

The device is updating or running diagnostics.

Do not unplug the cable.

Wait for the light to return to blue.

⚫️ No Light

The Access Point is not receiving power.

Check:

  1. The network cable is firmly connected to the Access Point
  2. The cable is securely connected to the switch
  3. The switch is powered on

If the light remains off → Contact Support.


Step 2 – Restart the Access Point

If Wi-Fi is not working:

  1. Unplug the network cable from the Access Point.
  2. Wait 10 seconds.
  3. Plug the cable back in.
  4. Wait 2–3 minutes for it to fully start.

If the issue continues → Contact Support.

When Contacting Support

Please include:

  • A photo of the Access Point
  • The LED color/state
