LED Status Guide - Tranquil Outdoor Servers

Some Toptracer installations use rugged outdoor servers called Tranquil servers.

There may be:

  • One Database Server
    • Some sites have a single Tranquil server. In these installations, that unit performs both database and tracking functions.
  • One or more Tracking Servers

It is normal for larger sites to have multiple Tranquil units.

How to Tell Which Tranquil Server You Are Looking At

Look at the front ports:

  • If you see ports labeled LAN, CAM1 and CAM2 →
    • This is a Tracking Server.
  • If you only see LAN1, LAN2 and IPMI ports and no camera labels →
    • This is the Database Server.

Some sites have only one Tranquil unit.

If no CAM ports are present, that unit handles all functions.
